In 2017, Ovation, Oval Space’s pioneering live music series, goes London-wide. Launched in 2015, Ovation’s mission statement is simple: to bring enterprising new sounds and artists to the capital. From February 2017, Ovation shows will take place across Moth Club, Rich Mix and Electric Brixton, in addition to their native homes of Oval Space and The Pickle Factory.

The newly refurbished Oval Space will be home to the likes of Austrian duo HVOB (27th April) and Death in Vegas' first live London performance in 5 years (25th May). Richard Fearless cut some of the 90s' most unusual records, fusing electro, dub, rock, psychedelic, soul and solid-gone experimentation to create a sound that was spacious and other-worldly, while also segueing with the pop mainstream. Diverse world talents Clap! Clap! and Ekali will take to the Moth Club stage on 21st April and 17th May respectively.

The Pickle Factory, widely regarded as one of London’s best live venues since opening in late 2015, will host Chrome Sparks (6th April), Daedelus (20th April) and Throwing Snow as some of the highlights from the upcoming season. Textural electronic artist Guy Andrews will co-curate Guises, which will play host to guest headliners of Andrews’ close producer friends with a DJ residency from Untold (27th April).

In exciting news for the capital’s Sunday live music scene, Ovation will be launching a quarterly Sunday series offering jazz and world music performances co-curated by Tom Skinner, beginning with Nérija and the Theon Cross Trio (2nd April).
