Are there any age restrictions for your events?

All our events are 18+ unless otherwise stated. We operate a Challenge 25 policy: if you look under 25, please bring a valid form of ID with you (passport or driving license). The following are not valid forms of ID and will not be accepted: credit / debit cards, college/university/company/gym ID cards, oyster cards.

Where can I buy tickets to Ovation events?

Tickets are available through our website. We also sell with other ticket vendors including Resident Advisor, Songkick, Ticketweb, Dice. Individual event information will always direct you to the correct ticket vendor. If you have a ticket enquiry please email info@ovationmusic.co.uk with full details of the issue you are having.

I've lost my ticket, what should I do?

Contact the ticket vendor you purchased it from. If you have a ticket enquiry please email info@ovationmusic.co.uk with full details of the issue you are having.

What name will appear on my bank statement?

Ticketing payments are processed by Big New Year Services on our behalf, so you may see Big New Year, Oval Space or Ovation on your statement.

Do you do refunds on tickets purchased through your site?

All tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If you have purchased your tickets through another vendor, you will need to contact them directly to find out about their refund policy.

Can I bring food into Ovation shows?

No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought into the venues.

Can I leave an event and come back later on?

No - we operate a no re-entry policy for our events, unless specifically stated on the event page or on our social channels.

Is there parking at the venues?

Oval Space is in a Controlled Parking Zone and there is no on-site car park. The nearest public car parks are: Roman Road (08:30 – 18:00), Whitechapel High Street NPC (06:00-19:00), Great Eastern Street NCP (06:00-20:00).

Is there Disabled Access at Ovation events?

Please drop us an email at access@ovalspace.co.uk if you plan on attending any Ovation shows and we will advise on the most convenient accessibility routes.

I lost my jacket/scarf/bag/homework at an Ovation show - how can I get it back?

Email lost@ovalspace.co.uk with a description of the item, which event it was left at, and your contact details. If your item has been found, one of our team will get back to you to make an appointment for collection. Collection times are during office hours: Mon - Fri, 10am - 6pm. We take great care in making every effort to reunite owners with lost items, however we deal with an extremely high volume of lost property so please be patient.

Is there a cloakroom at Ovation shows?

Oval Space and The Pickle Factory have a cloakroom - £2 per item. While we encourage everyone to use this secure facility, all items are left at the owner’s risk and we advise you do not leave valuables. Moth Club does not have a cloakroom.

Where can I find out set times?

The announcing of set times is at our promoters’ discretion. Check our socials on the day to see if they have been released.

Does Oval Space / The Pickle Factory have a cash machine on site?

We do not have cash machines on site. There is an ATM machine located just opposite The Oval on Hackney Road (100m away).

What are my payment options at the venues?

We accept Visa, Mastercard (£10 minimum spend on card) and cash at our bars. It's cash-only for door ticket sales and cloakroom.

Does Oval Space sell cigarettes?

Yes - ask for them at the bar.
